Description:
The Vought F4U Corsair was one of the most distinctive American fighter aircraft of World War II. Its inverted-gull wings and powerful Pratt & Whitney R-2800 engine made it instantly recognizable. A prototype was delivered to the US Navy in 1940.
The FMS 800 mm F4U Corsair V2 captures the aircraft’s iconic shape with a four-blade propeller, scale spinner, external fuel tanks, simulated missiles and a hand-painted pilot. Its navy-blue US Navy livery adds to the realistic warbird appearance.
Compared with earlier generations, the V2 features an upgraded KV1700 brushless motor, improved servos and revised center of gravity for easier handling. Reinforced landing gear and a steerable tail wheel assist ground handling, while the EPO foam construction balances low weight with durability.
The motor, ESC and servos are factory-installed. This RTF package also supplies a four-channel transmitter, receiver, 7.4 V 1300 mAh LiPo flight battery and charger. Assemble the model, charge the battery and check all controls according to the manual before the first flight.
