Description:
The FMS ASW-17 is a 2500mm powered glider developed with world champion pilot Daniel Aeberli. Its carefully refined airfoil combines efficient gliding performance with the practicality of a durable EPO foam airframe.
FMS engineers refined the wing tooling several times to optimize aerodynamic efficiency. The two-piece wing and tail surfaces use a snap-together system that requires neither glue nor screws.
The model features functional flaps, a 13.5 × 6-inch folding propeller, a 3541 KV750 motor and a 40A ESC with brake. Folding propeller blades reduce drag during gliding.
The PNP version includes the pre-installed motor, ESC and servos. A compatible transmitter, receiver, 4S LiPo flight battery and charger must be purchased separately.
